To further optimize the platform’s spot liquidity structure, enhance market depth quality, and improve the overall trading experience, KuCoin will adjust certain Spot VIP fee policies. This update will remove the current negative Maker fee mechanism and optimize the fee structure for VIP8 and VIP11–VIP12 tiers, making the overall fee system clearer, more stable, and more consistent.

1. Effective Time

• April 30, 2026, 16:00 (UTC 8)

After the update takes effect, all newly executed orders will follow the revised fee rules.

2. Fee Adjustment Details

VIP8–VIP12 Fee Adjustments

After this adjustment:

• Spot Maker fees for VIP8–VIP12 will be uniformly set to 0%
• Taker fee adjustments apply only to VIP8; other VIP levels remain unaffected

4. Impact of the Adjustment

1. Spot Maker fees for VIP11–VIP12 will be standardized to 0%, and related Maker orders will no longer enjoy negative fee benefits.
2. VIP8 Spot fees will be adjusted according to the table, while Spot Taker fees for VIP9–VIP12 remain unchanged.
3. Spot fees for other VIP levels are not affected by this adjustment.
4. This update only involves the Spot VIP fee structure and does not affect VIP tier qualification rules.
5. Pending orders will be subject to the fee rules at the time of execution.
6. KuCoin reserves the right to further optimize the fee structure based on market conditions and holds the final interpretation rights.
