KuCoin Will Support the Rename of Story (IP) to Data Network (DATA)

KuCoin will support the rename of Story (IP). Story will be renamed to Data Network, with the IP changing from IP to DATA. We will automatically complete the IP swap to DATA for IP holders on KuCoin.

The arrangements are as follows:

KuCoin Trading Bot will delist IP/USDT at 10:00 on July 3, 2026 (UTC), including Spot Grid, AI Spot Trend, Spot Martingale, Infinity Grid, DCA, Spot Grid AI Plus and Smart Rebalance. Users are advised to shut down the running Trading Bots before the time above. If the user fails to close the bot before the time above, the system will automatically shut down the relevant trading bot for the user.
The withdrawal and deposit services for IP will be closed at 08:00 on July 6, 2026 (UTC).
The trading service for theIP/USDT trading pair will be suspended at 10:00 on July 6, 2026 (UTC). We recommend that you cancel your pending orders of IP as soon as possible.
From 08:00 to 10:00 on July 8 (UTC), 2026, the PRO & Classic WebSocket may experience temporary disconnections, data loss, or delays. Users may reconnect to the WebSocket to restore the connection.
To complete the change, we will convert the IP to DATA at a ratio of 1:1 (1 IP = 1 DATA). Related follow-ups to this subject will be announced separately as soon as possible.
After the renaming is complete, please ensure you select DATA when depositing on-chain assets to KuCoin.

Note:

This renaming process does not involve any token contract upgrade or token swap. Only the token's name, ticker, and logo will change. For more information please refer to the project team’s Official Announcement.
The current DATA ticker is associated with Streamr (DATA), which is a separate and distinct token from Data Network (DATA). Prior to the rename taking effect, Streamr‘s ticker will be updated to DATAOLD before 10:00 on July 2, 2026. The withdrawal service of Streamr (DATA) will be temporarily paused from 10:00 on July 1, 2026 until the ticker update is complete.
