OKB Buy-Back & Burn Report (2022.12.01–2023.02.28)
The OKB team commenced the 19th round of its Buy-Back & Burn program between December 1st, 2022 and Feb, 28th, 2023. In this round, the total number of OKB bought back and burned from the secondary market was 5,183,976.43 OKB — equivalent to around $177 Million (Calculated at a 90-day average price).
The OKB Buy-Back & Burn program was initially launched on May 4, 2019, OKX started to buy back OKB tokens from the original supply of 300,000,000 OKB every 3 months according to the seasonal market and operating performance — which were subsequently sent to a burning address that nobody can access.
As of today, we have burned a total of 58,545,001.93 OKB. The current OKB in circulation is 241,454,998.07 OKB.
