Recently, there have been cases where scammers impersonate Upbit sending false market support proposals and request money under the pretense of providing market support services.

• Upbit accepts market support applications only through its official website and does not process any applications submitted via Telegram, LinkedIn, email, brokers, or other unofficial channels.
• Upbit does not operate or authorize any external organizations to assist or mediate in market support procedures.

Scam Cases

1. Impersonation of Upbit via Email or Social Media (e.g., Telegram), including sending false market support proposals and inducing victims to submit information or transfer funds through external links or unofficial forms

• Claiming benefits such as increased liquidity, global exposure, and VIP privileges from being listed on Upbit to lure projects.
• Citing actual project names as "successful cases" to build trust.
• Presenting a fake process such as "market agreement → market fee payment → market within three weeks".
• Inducing information submission through surveys, links, or other unofficial channels

2. Pretending to be a broker allegedly connected with an Upbit employee and demanding funds or tokens under the pretext of market support mediation

• Making false claims such as "Upbit market agency" or "market through non-official procedures"
• Providing false information such as "pre-announcing the market schedule"
