Infrared Finance is proud to announce the successful completion of a $2.5M seed round led by Synergis, with participation from NGC Ventures, Tribe Capital, CitizenX, Shima Capital, dao5, Signum Capital Ouroboros Capital, Decima, Oak Grove Ventures, DoraHacks, Tenzor Capital, Alex Shin, Albert Chon, Charles Lu, Mr. Block, Chris Spadafora, DCFGod, and others.
With the funding, the team aims to reimagine liquid staking in the context of Proof-of-Liquidity (PoL). These funds will play a pivotal role in advancing the development of essential infrastructure, including a network of validators, PoL vaults, and the inaugural native Liquid Staking Token (LST), iBGT.

Infrared Finance is the flagship application of the Proof of Liquidity (PoL) consensus mechanism pioneered by Berachain. The application reimagines liquid staking in the context of PoL with the unique soulbound elements of BGT. The protocol aims to maximize value capture via social aggregation of BGT through its infrastructure level PoL vaults and liquid staked token (LST), iBGT.
