Solana Company (Formerly: Helius) is a publicly listed digital asset treasury company focused on holding Solana (SOL) tokens. Its core mechanism involves continuously accumulating SOL through capital market operations (e.g., equity raises, financing) and staking the held SOL to generate approximately 7% annualized yield, while operating validator nodes to support the network. The company's goal is to maximize SOL holdings on a per-share basis, rather than fiat-denominated net asset value. The model was co-created by Pantera Capital and Summer Capital, drawing inspiration from MicroStrategy's Bitcoin treasury strategy but optimized for the Solana ecosystem.
