What is RaiseR?

RaiseR is a market for permissionless credit issuance and secondary market liquidity (RaiDEX). Anyone is able to borrow capital, without necessarily posting collateral, by relying on their on-chain creditworthiness.
Lenders are able to assess the quality of borrowers through on-chain credit scoring, and by participating in the borrowers’ communities, creating channels of accountability.
RaiseR tokenizes each borrow, creating a zero-coupon bond market, allowing lenders to tap liquidity prior to maturity, and providing speculators the ability to participate in a true credit market.

Why was RaiseR created?

Borrow-Lend markets in crypto are limited by design; either they have privileged access, are over-collateralized and come with liquidation risks, or do not offer good actors the ability to consistently tap cheap credit. 
RaiseR, which will be 100% owned and governed by the community, allows for open access to all whether they want to become a borrower, lender or trader. It allows anyone to create an issuance while offering lenders the choice to fund diverse opportunities based on the borrowers' credit profiles. Moreover, traders will be able to tap into secondary markets for all successful issuances. 

What is the $RZR token?

$RZR is the fuel of RaiseR. As a gas token, it is required to be paid as a fee (burned) in transactions. Moreover, it will be required for participating in governance via veRZR.

How does RaiseR work?

The participants of RaiseR can be categorized as 
Borrowers: those who want to raise funds by offering interest and issuing zero-coupon bonds
Lenders: those who want to fund different issuances by buying zero-coupon bonds to earn a fixed income
Traders: those who want to trade the secondary markets of the zero-coupon bonds to earn a profit
Each participant has different needs and risk appetites, with each forming a necessary pillar of the RaiseR Credit Market. 

What is RaiDEX?

RaiDEX is the proprietary market for ZCBs on RaiseR. Anytime there is a successful borrow, the corresponding ZCB is automatically enabled on RaiDEX. Like any DEX, users are also free to create any other market to derive liquidity.
When (and if) all outstanding ZCBs of any particular issuance are redeemed upon the maturity of a borrow, the market will be automatically delisted from RaiDEX.

$RZR-Based Fees

• $RZR-based fees of RaiseR are as follows:
• 10,000 $RZR: to create a borrow pool
• 1,000 $RZR: to commit funds to any pool 
• 1,000 $RZR: to claim funds from any pool 
• 1,000 $RZR: to withdraw funds by a borrower

Fees are subject to change by  governance . 

Non-$RZR Fees

• The non-RZR fees of RaiseR are as follows:
• 0.15% in USDC for any successful borrow
• 0.20% in USDC for any trade on RaiDEX

100% of non-RZR fees are distributed to the community (see veRZR and Governance)
