Important Update on USDtb Minting and Redemption

Dear Users,

We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the USDtb minting and redemption process on Bybit. Please note that USDtb will continue to be freely transferable and accessible to all users on the Bybit platform, with no changes to the user experience.

Effective Date: October 13, 2025

Key Updates:

-USDtb minting and redemption via USDT/USDC will no longer be supported.

-USDtb will only be mintable and redeemable through USDe, which will serve as the exclusive stablecoin for these transactions.

-To mint/redeem USDtb, users must first convert their USDT/USDC to USDe, after which they can proceed to mint USDtb from USDe as usual.

Reason for Update:

USDtb is transitioning from being backed by BUIDL, USDC, and USDT to solely being backed by BUIDL and fiat USD as to be issued and managed in a GENIUS-compliant manner by Anchorage Digital Bank.

Bybit continues to be the first and only exchange offering in-platform stablecoin mint/redeem, providing a more efficient and liquid way for users to access with stables in all sizes.
