MEXC Will Support the Merit Circle (MC) Token Swap, Redenomination, and Rebranding to Beam (BEAMX)
Dear MEXCers,
MEXC will support the Merit Circle (MC) token swap, redenomination, and rebranding to Beam (BEAMX).
The arrangements are as follows:
- MEXC will close deposits and withdrawals of MC at 2023-10-30 06:00 (UTC);
- MEXC will delist the MC/USDT spot trading pair and cancel all spot pending orders of MC/USDT at 2023-10-30 06:00 (UTC);
- MEXC will delist MCUSDT perpetual futures at 2023-10-30 05:00 (UTC). MEXC will use the index price at the time of delisting as the settlement price to close all positions for the mentioned trading pair. Once delisted, all open orders for this trading pair will be canceled
- All MC tokens will be swapped for BEAMX at a ratio of 1 MC = 100 BEAMX;
- The new MC token will assume the ticker of BEAMX on MEXC after the token swap. This is different from the on-chain display.
Please note:
- Users are advised to search for the mentioned futures trading pair using the search bar and close any open positions before the delisting to minimize risks and prevent unnecessary losses.
- MEXC will not support token swaps for MC tokens deposited after the closure of deposits.
- MEXC no longer supports deposits/withdrawals for MC tokens after the token swap.
- MEXC will make a separate announcement after the event is complete to notify users when deposits, withdrawals, and trading of BEAMX will be opened.
