How to use the Aptos network on OKX Wallet? (Web/Wallet Extension)
OKX Wallet is a one-stop Web 3.0 portal with easy access to over 1,000 DApp protocols. It's available on the OKX app, web, and extension. By using a seed phrase to generate an on-chain identity, OKX Wallet helps users securely and easily manage assets on the Aptos network and 38 other networks, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, OKC, Solana, BSC, and Polygon.
OKX Wallet offers access to OKX DEX, a built-in DEX aggregator for multi-chain and cross-chain transactions; it also has OKX NFT, an all-in-one, multi-chain NFT trading platform.
1. How to create an Aptos wallet?
If you haven't created an Aptos wallet, you can use OKX Wallet to create one and generate an Aptos wallet address.
1) Open the OKX website, switch to Wallet, click Connect wallet, select OKX Wallet, and click Install extension.
2) After installing the extension, click Connect wallet again, select Create a wallet, enter a password, and confirm.
3) A Back up your wallet window pops up, enter the wallet password you created to complete the backup. Please keep your seed phrase stored safely. (OKX Wallet doesn't store your seed phrase or private key on the server. If you lose your seed phrase or private key, your assets can't be recovered. OKX will be unable to help you retrieve your wallet either. )
4) After backing up, a wallet is created. Now you can copy your Aptos wallet address:
Click the rectangleicon on the right side of the account name, scroll down to find the Aptos network symbol, and click the icon beside it;
Or: click Receive and enter APT to search, click to go to its details page, and copy your Aptos receiving address.

2. How to import an existing Aptos wallet into OKX Wallet?
If you already have an Aptos wallet, you can import it into OKX Wallet, which requires the wallet's seed phrase.
1) If you haven't created or imported a wallet in OKX Wallet:
- Open the OKX website, switch to Wallet, and install the extension. After installing, click Import wallet, select the seed phrase, and enter it. Then, enter your password and confirm to complete importing.
2) If you have used the OKX Wallet, but want to import a new one into it:
- Click OKX Wallet extension and click the ▼ icon, select Manage, and select Add wallet. Then, select Import an existing wallet and Seed phrase, and enter it to complete importing.

3. How to deposit APT to OKX Wallet?
- Select the wallet or account you want to receive APT in, e.g., Wallet A - Account 01.
- Click Receive and enter APT to search, click to go to its details page, and copy your Aptos receiving address.
- Enter this address on other exchanges or wallets where you hold APT and withdraw it. After the transfer is completed, the corresponding APT can be seen in the wallet once it's confirmed on the network.

4. How many projects have been built on the Aptos network?
As a new public blockchain, Aptos is considered the next "Solana". Its core founding team is from Libra (later renamed as "Diem"), Meta's blockchain project that got canceled. Most of Aptos' investors are well-known in the crypto VC world, including a16z, FTX Ventures, and Coinbase Ventures, thus giving a good sign that the project shows promise.
