What Is StablR Euro(EURR)?

StablR Euro (EURR) are designed to be Euro-backed stablecoins, which are DLT Assets that are pegged to the value of the euro, with each StablR Euro (EURR) representing a specific amount of the fiat currency. The main purpose of StablR Euro (EURR) is to provide a digital alternative to traditional forms of money that is more efficient, secure, and accessible. The Issuer aims that StablR Euro (EURR) will be used as a medium of exchange, a store of value, and a unit of account, and can be used in a variety of contexts, including online transactions, cross-border payments, and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. Some of the main use cases for StablR Euro (EURR) include enabling faster and cheaper payments, facilitating international trade and investment, and enabling more flexible and resilient financial systems.  

How Does StablR Euro Work?

The project included the setting up of a corporate structure to facilitate the issuing of StablR Euro (EURR), which involves several key steps and requires a range of resources, including expert advice in relation to certain technical areas. The project required the establishment of a corporate entity in Malta that is specifically designed to issue StablR Euro (EURR). Simultaneously, the Issuer is liaising over the development of the issuance platform. This platform will need to be built using secure and scalable technology and will need to be able to support the issuance and management of StablR Euro (EURR). This has involved in the development of custom technology, which has been also subject to the work of specialised outsourced parties. The project will require the acquisition of the necessary reserves to support StablR Euro (EURR). This may involve the purchase of assets such as fiat currencies or other stable assets, or the development of partnerships with banks and other financial institutions.
