KuCoin Upgrades Interest-Free Lending: 0% Rates, UTA Support, and Lower Volume Requirements

KuCoin is pleased to announce the upgrade of its Institutional Interest-Free Lending Program, designed to provide professional traders and institutional clients with more flexible and cost-efficient capital solutions.

With the latest upgrade, eligible users can now access competitive lending rates of 4.5%, 2.5%, or 0%, while Institutional Lending now supports Unified Trading Account (UTA), enabling more efficient use of capital across multiple trading products.

Program Details

Starting today, Unified Trading Account (UTA) is upgraded with Institutional Lending capabilities, enabling eligible users to access up to 3 million USDT in interest-free borrowing directly within their unified account.

With UTA, borrowed funds can be seamlessly deployed across Spot, Margin, and Futures without the need to move assets between separate trading accounts, delivering greater capital efficiency, flexibility, and convenience for multi-product trading.

Institutional Lending is available in USDT, USDC, BTC, and ETH.

Eligibility of Program:

Newly Registered API Clients: Newly registered API-using clients with at least $10 million in 30-day trading volume on Spot or Futures markets on other reputable cryptocurrency exchanges.

Existing Clients Expanding Their Business with KuCoin: Existing KuCoin clients entering a new business line, such as Spot traders who begin trading Futures, or Futures traders who begin trading Spot.

Other Existing KuCoin Clients: Existing KuCoin clients with specific borrowing or financing needs may contact the KuCoin Institutional Team for one-on-one customized lending solutions, subject to individual assessment.

Eligibility of Interest-free Lending:

0% Interest Rate for the First 2 Months Enjoy interest-free lending for the first 2 months with no trading volume requirement.

Extend 0% Interest Rate Month by Month

For a 1M USDT loan, the required monthly trading volume increases progressively: 0-30M → 45M → 75M.
Starting from the 3rd month, the interest rate for each month is determined by the previous month’s trading volume.
From Month 4 onward, if the required trading volume is not fully achieved, the interest rate for the following month will be based on the completion rate:
