Where to look for deposit address and tag/memo
When you deposit cryptocurrency to OKX from third-party exchanges or non-custodial wallets, you will need a deposit address, and sometimes even a tag/memo from us depending on the cryptocurrency you are depositing. We will show you where to look for the address and tag/memo when depositing.
For app
Open your OKX app and tap Asset, then tap Deposit on the Asset page:
Search or tap the desired cryptocurrency (XRP), then select the designated network:
We will inform you when the crypto you are depositing requires a tag/memo (usually appears as a set of numbers). After clicking I understand, you should see and copy the Deposit address and tag/memo.
Tips: Copy the deposit address or tag/memo and paste it on the withdrawal page of the platform of your choice. Follow the instructions to complete your deposit.
Remark:
- Make sure the withdrawal network of your selected platform matches with the deposit address with OKX (in case of XRP, it is the XRP-Ripple network). Otherwise, you might lose your assets.
- Not every cryptocurrency and network requires a tag/memo, but when they do, make sure you fill in both the deposit address and tag/memo to avoid any potential losses. If there is no tag/memo, the deposit address alone will suffice.
For web
Open OKX web, tap [Assets] , [Deposit] , and [Select crypto]. Search or tap the desired cryptocurrency (XRP), then select the designated network:
