OKX to support Polygon and Cosmos mainnet upgrade

We are excited to announce we will be supporting the Polygon (MATIC) and Cosmos (ATOM) network’s mainnet upgrade.

• Regarding the Polygon (MATIC) network upgrade:
  • The Polygon (MATIC) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at approximately 6:00 am UTC on March 20, 2024.
  • Deposits and withdrawals of Polygon (MATIC) tokens and tokens belonging to its network will be suspended at 5:00 am UTC on March 20, 2024.
• Regarding the Cosmos (ATOM) network upgrade:
  • The Cosmos (ATOM) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at approximately 10:27 am UTC on March 20, 2024.
  • Deposits and withdrawals of Cosmos (ATOM) tokens and tokens belonging to its network will be suspended at 9:30 am UTC on March 20, 2024.
• We will resume deposits and withdrawals for impacted tokens on the Polygon (MATIC) and Cosmos (ATOM) networks once the upgraded networks are stable. We won’t be making a separate announcement once this is complete.
• For the safety of your funds, do not make any further withdrawals or deposits of Polygon (MATIC) and Cosmos (ATOM) tokens and tokens belonging to its network during the upgrade period.

Please note:

• The trading of Polygon (MATIC) and Cosmos (ATOM) tokens and tokens belonging to the Polygon (MATIC) and Cosmos (ATOM) networks won’t be affected during this network upgrade. Please be aware of the risks associated with the spot, margin, and derivatives trading of these tokens, and make sure you increase your margin to lower your risk.
• You don’t need to do anything if you hold any Polygon (MATIC) or Cosmos (ATOM) tokens and tokens belonging to the Polygon (MATIC) or Cosmos (ATOM) network in your account. We will handle all technical requirements involved.
