OKX Web3 Derivative System Upgrade Announcement

Dear OKX users,

We're pleased to announce an upgrade to the Web3 Derivative system currently running on the testnet. This upgrade is aimed at enhancing your experience and improving system scalability. In addition, we'll be migrating the service from the Goerli testnet to the Sepolia testnet. It's important to note that this upgrade is focused on the server system, and there will be no changes to the Web and App interfaces and interactions, so users won't have to learn any new operations.

As the original system is deployed on a testnet with test funds, there is no need to be concerned about financial losses resulting from the upgrade. However, please be aware that all data, including orders, positions, and asset information in your accounts, will be cleared during the upgrade. This means once the upgrade is complete, you'll need to connect your wallet again, authorize transactions, and claim test funds to resume trading.

The upgrade is scheduled to commence on October 30, 2023, and is expected to take approximately one week to complete. During this period, access to the Web3 Derivative will be temporarily unavailable. Once the upgrade is finalized, the Derivative website will be accessible on December 6, 2023, and the App features will become available as soon as the latest version is released on the App Store/Google Play. Please be aware that older App versions won't support Derivative trading, so we kindly request that you update your App to the latest version to ensure uninterrupted usage.

If you encounter the images shown below while trying to access Web3 Derivative, it means you need to update your App to the latest version. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
