Gate Charity Launches Benin Food Donation Initiative to Improve Living Conditions of Children in West Africa

Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, launches "Benin Food Donation Project" on May 29 to support the children of EPP GANVIE ET CSC Primary School in Benin, West Africa. Funds raised online will be used to procure essential items including bags, flour, fruits, and cakes. These items will then be delivered directly to the EPP GANVIE ET CSC Primary School.

The children of EPP GANVIE ET CSC Primary School, located in the Ganvié region of Benin, face significant challenges every day. Buildings in the region often stand on the water, and the habitants live on top of stilts. Children are taught to drive a dugout canoe from a very young age. They use it to go to school. Nevertheless, sporadic scenarios of children falling into the water and drowning accidents are frequent.

There is practically no breeding or agriculture and most of the products are imported from the surrounding towns, making food insecurity one of the most pressing issues there. Gate Charity aims to address the problem through this charity drive. By providing these children with basic food supplies, the initiative hopes to alleviate their hunger and contribute positively to their overall health and well-being.
