- Gate has announced the listing of RLUSD (Ripple USD), Ripple's U.S. Dollar backed stablecoin, alongside the launch of BTC/RLUSD, ETH/RLUSD, XRP/RLUSD, and RLUSD/USDT trading pairs on June 15 at 09:00 (UTC).
About Ripple USD
RLUSD is a regulated, enterprise-grade stablecoin created with trust, liquidity, and compliance at its core. Issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, LLC — a wholly owned subsidiary of Ripple Labs — RLUSD is backed 1:1 by U.S. dollar deposits, short-term U.S. Treasuries, and other cash equivalents, with monthly attestations to enhance trust and regulatory alignment. Purpose-built for payments, RLUSD is designed to meet the growing demand from users, developers and institutions for a stablecoin that is transparent, interoperable and built for real-world use. Since its launch in December 2024, RLUSD's market cap has surpassed $1.6 billion, reflecting rapid adoption across payments, remittances and institutional DeFi.
