Spout Finance is a Solana-based lending protocol that allows users to deposit tokenized US equities as collateral to borrow stablecoins at 0% interest. The core mechanism involves the protocol automatically executing a covered call strategy on the collateral, distributing the generated option premiums to stablecoin lenders, thereby creating yield for lenders without charging borrowers interest. The protocol manages risk through a 200% collateralization ratio, a VIX-based volatility adjustment mechanism, and Monte Carlo stress testing. Its underlying assets are custodied by a regulated US broker-dealer, and it employs a multi-jurisdictional structure (US, BVI, Panama) for regulatory compliance.
